Hello everybody!
Will be moving to Scotland in September and hoping to play some squash there as well. Could anyone recommend a club for a student who lives in the center of Glasgow? Staying for five months, and might be even interested to play in some league team (nowhere near the top players though).
Student fees and good location would be nice bonus
Thanks in advance,
Riku |

Hi John,
Nice to hear from you again. I'm very excited and ready to leave soon. Having said that, would not be suprised if my arrival is delayed due to a lost passport or some other self-inflicted misfortune.
I will send an email shortly with all the details. As to your question, the answer is yes and soon as possible.
Until then,
Take care and see you soon! |

This post was for last season and yes he played for SSRC 1 all season except the last couple of matches.
He also entered all the West tournaments that he could.
He was a very welcome additon to the membership at SSRC and we thouroughly enjoyed his stay as I hope he did.
Cheers Riku! |

John and Steve...i have a player that i coach the now and is looking for 1st Div team to play for next season. His name is Calum Philips and plays at Hamilton the now, but due to them pulling out of Div 1 that has left him in a dilema!
He was runner up in the club champs at Hamilton and is fast improving...great potential...good lad and pretty dam good player. Was wondering if you fancied giving him a go in your team?
Looking for somewhere that suits him travelling as well.
hope you take this great opportunity as he would be a great addition to your team.
Peter. |

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the info.
Our 1st Team is currently looking pretty strong but we are always keen to add to that.
Anyone playing for our teams obviously has to be a fully paid up member of the club and he would also have to prove himself against the current squad to earn his place. details of the Subscription costs are on the club website.
I am sure he has played at SSRC before so knows exactly where we are, can he come along and have a look around?
Let me know and I will try and arrange a game against someone from our 1st team squad for him.
Cheers
John |

I can confirm that I fully enjoyed my time with SSRC from start to finish. Not only did the club let me play in the first team, they also looked after me and helped out with other issues than just squash. Really miss the time at the club and hope to come back soon. _________________ Suomi Finland Kerpele
